Inter-Ethnic Dialogue for Human Rights and Democracy

 ‘DELTA for the Balkans’ works to build inter-ethnic dialogue and cooperation based on mutual respect for human and civil rights and on participatory democracy.

DELTA runs capacity-building training programs for NGOs, civil society organizations and faith-based groups in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.

DELTA’s approach promotes people’s critical awareness of their situation and problems and enables them to take part in decisions and actions that affect their lives and their communities. 

DELTA’s pedagogical principles and methods are always adapted to local socio-cultural situations in community education for justice and development programs

DELTA’s programs are rooted in the participatory philosophy of Paulo Freire and are linked with a worldwide ‘Training for Transformation’ network in over 40 countries.
