DELTA designed and ran awareness and capacity-building programs in partnership with 28 organizations in Kosovo, including 21 local NGOs, as well as Oxfam, CARE and Mercy Corps. In addition, DELTA has run training programs for Kosovo Ministry of Health, SBASHK (Kosovo Teachers’ Union) and the Department of Sociology at Prishtina University. Since the geographical expansion of the program in the Balkans, staff members from over 50 NGOs have taken part in DELTA workshops. An intensive four-phase training program, ‘Inter-ethnic Dialogue for Human Rights and Democracy’, has also been completed with seven NGO teams from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia. DELTA’s major funding partner is RENOVABIS, a German Church-based agency for reconstruction and development in Eastern Europe.
